Christmas 2008

Jon & I would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas!

For those of you that were not with us this year...here is the RECAP!

Jon & I hosted Christmas this year, and we had our traditional turkey "Norman" dinner on Christmas Eve.

Grandma came down from Redding and stayed with us at the Chateau Bower.

She helped supervise the dinner.

After dinner we took naps...

We opened presents and watched home movies.

Twins.

Christmas Day

Wever's return to the Bower's in full force! We eat snacks and sandwiches and hangout.

We watched Evan open his presents.

We had Curry Turkey for dinner and played games.

Drill Baby Drill...taught Evan how to play our favorite game, "King Oil." Overall it was a stress-free relaxing Christmas. We only wish we could be with all of our family!

Don't You Wish You Shared A Birthday With This Guy....

I'm so lucky.

Dad got me a kick-butt wide angle lens for my birthday/xmas present.

Then we all went out to dinner at "Little Prague."

Jon got me a baby E.T. doll.

Jon's Parents got me the best theme gift...my favorite theme ...WINE!

Pre-Birthday Celebrating!

Thanks to Mike and his iphone...there is evidence of me doing some pre-birthday partying!

4 ways I know I'm getting old...

  1. I arrive at the party late, and leave early.
  2. I'm drinking wine.
  3. I try to attend events where I'm the youngest one there.
  4. I'm asleep by 12:30, but I still feel like I was up ALL night the next morning.

Bower Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving this year was hosted by James & Tracy. It was a very special Thanksgiving because Aunt Sue flew in from Minnisota, and the parents came down from Alaska.

James took charge of the Turkey, and deep fried our bird to perfection!

Ali was afraid that there would be no yams, but Tracy's Mom brought some, and they were delicious!!!

There were so many desserts, even a homemade Tiramisu!

We played DS...

We looked at albums...

We played Wii

We took home movies...

We met Princess Belle...

We had fun...

BACK IN DAVIS...
Jon and Ali hosted the folks and Aunt Sue. We ate lots of good food and played Cranium.

Jon is acting like a roller coaster!

Who am I?

Duh!

What better way to tour Davis than by bicycle.

Jon gave us a tour of his lab.

We had enough bikes for everyone thanks to Grandma Brown! She gave Jon and I her old Roadside Cruisers!

We were so happy to see Sue, and we hope she visits again soon!

We took Mom out to dinner at the Tower Cafe in Sacramento.
