NEWS FLASH: Mother Sells Precious Moments for CASH...
Due to Grandma Wever's recent move to Concord, an estate sale was needed, but Mother Wever thought that this could also be a great opportunity to sell 20 years worth of Wever family Sss......stuff.
to Cookware...
to Toys...
to Rare Cultural Artifacts...
to Vintage & Antique items...
to Electronics...

to Furniture and Home Decor...
to Books and Clothing...
to well....lets just say... we had something for everyone!
ONLY $1.00
There were some things that were NOT for sale! We did not put a price on Grandpa's cool hat!
Organizing a Sale this big was a HUGE task, and Mother Wever did it with help from Patty, the Wever Boys, and a very pregnant daughter, but honestly, she did the majority of the work by herself!!!!
WE ARE IN ESCROW!!!!

No more waiting, we have finally heard back from the appraisers, and our loan has been approved!!!!!! We will be closing on July 10th, and we will have keys to our new/old home.

We don't have a lot to do to get it ready, but we do need to paint the inside and decide what we want to do with the floors and guest bathroom (it is really out-dated). We plan to actually move in the last week of July.

The backyard is pretty big, and already has a covered patio for entertaining, and an established garden with rose bushes and citrus trees.
All in all, we have found a very solid house in a wonderful established neighborhood. We are buying it from the original owners, and they took very good care of it. The roof, Central AC and double pane windows are all brand new (only two years old).
We are very excited about this houses potential and can't wait to make it home!!!

Finally in ESCROW!!!!!!!!!
Geez, dozens of dumps, four bids, and two Short Sales later...we finally have found a house:
We have been waiting for the house just down the street from this one, but because it was a Short Sale, we have been getting discouraged. We had recently heard that the owners were trying to SAVE the house and get back in it, which we have seen evidence of just that. They are living in it again! More power to them if they can save their home, but luckily for us, another house opened on the same street! This one needs more work, but it is cheaper, and bigger!! We are very excited.
- On the right side of the tracks
- with Vintage charm
- 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms
- Established garden in the backyard
- Central Air and double paned windows!!!!
- REGULAR SALE!!!!!! Which means...No Red Tape!!!

28 weeks and 1 day...

Ok, we are on the final stretch...3rd Trimester!!!

Blast From The Past
Not sure who all was old enough to remember and USE this domestic artifact...but I do!!!!!!
Jon and I ran into a vender at the Sacramento County Fair, and I couldn't believe my eyes! It was a Rainbow Vacuum display!!

Dad Wever used to sell these Rainbow Vacuum Cleaners in the 80's and every good sales person should have first hand experience with the merchandise. The vacuum sucked dust and debris into its WATER tank, which had to be dumped after vacuuming. What a mess.
